A one-day workshop covering advanced bookbinding techniques, including making a hardcover book, coptic binding, and a sleeve case.
It also covers the book's function as an artistic tool and its historical importance. All supplies and lunch are provided.
The instructor is Magaly Cantú (MFA), an interdisciplinary artist based in the DFW metroplex, whose work focuses on familial relationships, personal memories, photographs, and daydreams, dissecting experiences of girlhood as a Latina.
